The national provisions relating to market surveillance can be found in Part 6 (Sections 39 to 45) of the Pressure Equipment Act (Druckgerätegesetz), Federal Law Gazette (BGBl.) I No 161/2015
The statutory provisions on pressure equipment specify the corresponding marking (CE, reversed epsilon, pi) of conformity with EU legislation. The sections below set out the basic provisions governing the conformity marking, and must be considered in the overall context of the relevant legislation:
